Clear terms,in plain English.

1. Who we are

JP Property Consultancy is operated by Jon Pulman Property Consultancy, Milówka 34-360, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) PL5532568011. You can contact us by email at jon@jppropertyconsultancy.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean JP Property Consultancy, and "you" means the person booking the consultation.

2. The service

The consultation is a private, one-to-one conversation with Jon Pulman lasting up to 45 minutes, by Google Meet, phone or WhatsApp call. It is not held in person. It is followed within two working days by a one-page written summary of what was discussed, the options as Jon sees them, and suggested next steps. It gives you an independent, experienced opinion based on the information you provide.

We do not act as your estate agent, solicitor, surveyor or mortgage adviser. The consultation does not include a formal valuation, a full written report, marketing your property or negotiating on your behalf. Any further work is agreed and priced separately, in writing, before it starts. Decisions about your property remain yours.

3. How a booking is made

1. You send an enquiry through our website. This is not a booking and costs nothing.
2. Jon reviews it. If a consultation is suitable, we email you to confirm, with these terms and a secure payment link.
3. The contract between us is made when you pay. We then confirm the booking by email within one working day, including these terms, so you have a copy, and arrange a time with you.

We may decline an enquiry, for example if the matter is outside England or outside what a consultation can usefully cover.

4. Price and payment

The price is £250. That is the total you pay: there are no additional fees or charges. Payment is taken in advance through Stripe, our payment provider.

5. Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day the contract is made.

To cancel, tell us clearly by email at jon@jppropertyconsultancy.com. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your message before the cancellation period ends.

If you cancel, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day we are told of your decision. We will use the same payment method you used, and you will not pay any fee for the refund.

6. Consultations within the 14 days

Most consultations take place within 14 days of booking. We can only do that if you ask us to. When you book, we will ask you to confirm:

I ask for my consultation to take place within the 14-day cancellation period. I understand that if I cancel before it takes place I will get a full refund, and that I will lose my right to cancel once the consultation has been given and my written summary sent.

You do not have to ask for this. If you prefer, your consultation takes place after the 14-day cancellation period has ended, and you can cancel for a full refund at any time until then.

If you cancel before the consultation takes place, you receive a full refund. If you cancel after the consultation but before your written summary is sent, you pay a proportionate amount for the part already provided and we refund the rest. Once the consultation has been given and the summary sent, the service is complete and the right to cancel ends.

7. Rearranging your consultation

• With at least 24 hours' notice: you can rearrange or cancel free of charge.
• Within the 14-day cancellation period: you can cancel at any time before the consultation takes place for a full refund, as set out in sections 5 and 6.
• With less than 24 hours' notice, once the cancellation period has ended: we will offer you another time. If you prefer to cancel, we refund the price less £50, which covers the preparation already done (Jon reads your fact-find in advance) and the time reserved for you.
• If you miss the consultation without telling us: we will contact you and offer one alternative time at no extra cost.

8. If we need to cancel or rearrange

If we have to cancel or move your consultation, we will tell you as soon as we can and you can choose another time or a full refund.

9. Our responsibility to you

We will provide the consultation with reasonable care and skill. The consultation is an opinion based on the information you give us; please make sure it is accurate and complete. If we fail to provide the service as described, please tell us and we will put it right or refund you as appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Your information

We use the information you give us only to respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation. Please do not send sensitive financial, health or identity information. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, email jon@jppropertyconsultancy.com. We aim to reply within 5 working days and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of the consumer law where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
